Guenther Steiner, who led Haas F1 Team for ten years, has left his job as the team’s main boss.
Steiner became famous because of a TV show called “Drive to Survive.” People liked him because he was honest and direct. But now, Ayao Komatsu, who worked as an engineer for the team, will take over Steiner’s job.
Haas had some good moments under Steiner’s leadership, but the team struggled a lot in the last season. This might be a reason why Steiner left.
The team’s way of working, where they buy many parts from Ferrari, made it hard for them to make their car better. They had problems with the tires, and their cars were often faster in qualifying than in races.
The team owner, Gene Haas, said they want to be better on the track. They think that focusing more on engineering can help them improve. They hope Komatsu can lead the team in the right direction.
Haas is trying to find a new way forward. They want to do better in the future, and they hope this change will help them improve.
