On December 12, 2023, Lamborghini proudly delivered a new Urus Performante to the Italian Police, solidifying their twenty-year partnership. During a ceremony in Rome, CEO Stephan Winkelmann handed the keys to Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi and Police Chief Vittorio Pisani.
This Urus Performante, the sixth Lamborghini in the Police fleet, was customized to Police specifications, featuring a unique design by Lamborghini’s Style Center. With a powerful V8 twin-turbo engine boasting 666 horsepower, the vehicle is ready to assist the Police in special missions, including the urgent transport of organs and plasma.
The interior has been adapted to meet the needs of the Italian Police, including essential features like an armored drawer for weapons, a foldable panel for graphic messages, and a special compartment in the trunk for storing necessary equipment. The delivery of the Urus Performante marks Lamborghini’s continued commitment to supporting the critical operations of the Italian Police.
